Fluxim has announced that the company has released a new version of its device simulator SETFOS for the characterisation of organic optoelectronic devices. The new software for the study of OLEDs and OPV sees major improvements compared with earlier versions.
Fluxim has developed comprehensive optoelectronic simulation software called setfos which is used in industry and academia worldwide for characterising and optimising organic photovoltaic (OPV) devices and organic light-emitting diodes (OLED).
The new version of the software has the following additional features:
- multi-threading support for speed improvement on multicore PCs
- a completely re-designed graphical user interface (GUI)
- a solver for electrical impedance spectroscopy simulations
- an algorithm for scalar light scattering
Beat Ruhstaller, CEO of Fluxim, said, "What looks like an incremental version at first sight, represents a major step for us and our customers. We are proud to have advanced the simulation software to make it ever more practically useful and are eager to continue developing R&D tools that support the community."
